Many holistic therapists discover the need to develop or hone their time management skills which go into business for themselves. Unlike the business world, where the "boss" often structured his days as an entrepreneur is the person in charge of organizing your days and your time. The problem is that many holistic therapists have a more "relaxed" sense of time and tend to be overwhelmed and stressed out with lack of customers as a result. When the looms of stress, which only produces more stress-inducing thoughts, which leads to procrastination and self-sabotage. Caramba!
If you want to have a practice of complete healing, must take into account their way of thinking about time and learn how to use most effectively.Below are some of my own thoughts about time management. Put just a few of these ideas into practice as of today. You will be amazed at how productive and your day will be adhered to. And the best part is, you will reap the benefits of having a full practice full of clients delicious.
1 - Know your why.
"The greater is why easy is how." - Jim Rohn
Every business owner holistic healing has moments when he or she wonders if what they are doing really matters in the grand scheme of things. After all comes down to the fact that it is their business. You need to know in your heart that what you're doing really matters. Not enough to understand only intellectually. This is because your heart has a real need to feel a connection to this scenario, and without a connection to heart-centered, will be based on the willpower and discipline to move forward. When you have clearly identified the reason for the large and juicy started his business of holistic healing that becomes much easier to focus their efforts day by day. You have a purpose to keep the eye.
2 - Know your limits and say no.
As "healers" tend to say yes more often than say no. And not for the right reason. Do not let it obtained in its way.If you do not want to make something clear. Be clear with yourself about what you are willing to give their time to. Be clear with others about what is important to you. Stop doing things because you feel like you "have" to. You do not have to do anything you do not. Top honor yourself and your time. Be a role model for others to do the same.
3 - Create a schedule.
Do you have a list of important tasks to be done sitting at your desk waiting to be marked, but is tired at the end of the day, struggling with his desire to see? Back to # 1 and re-read. Then, the budget itself a short time each week to their priority of things to do and schedule a time to work on just those things. Do not leave unfinished. Be sure to complete each topic. If not complete, not move on until. Make sure the slot of the most significant and important first and then slot in the rest. After tracing the activities prevent you from taking on other things or simply "lose" time.
4 - Create a sense of responsibility.
Find an accountability partner. Share your goals with them every week. Tell them exactly what you have planned to reach out and let them know next week what you have accomplished. Establishing responsibility and let others know what you're doing is easier to say no to the "duties" and creates a sense of urgency to get your things to make your list. This is the main reason I'm in a group of high intellectual level and have my own coach. It keeps me inspired and keeps me in the way because I have someone to "report" to.
5 - self-sabotage.
Oh, yes, this is the greatest monster! Create awareness about the excuses that happens not to go ahead. Refurbishment of yourself to create new habits around time (let's talk about that in # 6). Reprogram the way you view time as a high value. We only have so many breaths on this planet. Take some personal time and seriously.
6 - Creating realistic strategies and habits.
As business owners have integrated a tendency to be too relaxed either on time or ourselveson set high expectations for how much you want to achieve over time. What are you? Here are some strategies to manage these two:
1. Be kind to yourself by setting small goals
2. Size small steps that can appear ridiculous - only for them indeed!
3. Use a timer to keep on track with your time
4. Set deadlines
5. We have imperfect measures - do not miss the "perfection" of each task
6. Fulfill your commitment to yourself
7 - Get it off your list.
Time is valuable. If something feels they become afraid and neither is seen as a waste of time, take it off your list. Delegate. Hire someone. Have someone help you. Hire a bookkeeper, to find a web designer and a housekeeper. Yes, you can do the same, but it would take hours are the hours you could be working on attracting more clients and do the job that you love.
8 - Time is short to have a blast!
As a sole proprietor is so easy to take everything so damn seriously! One of my values is to feel happy and enjoy my time. Practice does not look too far and instead look at how far we have come! Be full of life in every moment and celebrate their successes. When you undertake to accomplish this, how can you waste time?
